Team USA on a Long Wait for Wade

Team USA’s leading scorer in the Beijing Olympics is far from deciding whether or not he will play for the United States at the 2010 FIBA World Championship. Miami Heat’s guard averaged 16 points per game on the Olympics and just recently met with USA Basketball supremo Jerry Colangelo. But the meeting still left Wade undecided.
The Heat guard who is turning 28 this Jan.17 had a game-high 27 points for the United States in their gold-medal triumph over Spain at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Considering some factors made Wade to be undecided in committing for Team USA and quoted, "I really said to myself after 2008, when we won the gold medal, that I was in the mind state that it was it for me."

 Wade will be a free agent at the off the season and isn't certain if he will remain with the Heat.

 The World game being on this summer makes it difficult for Wade to decide because it will surely be a very busy summer for him.

 Wade pointed out that is not trying to be selfish, instead, he just want to make sure he is doing the right thing for everybody.

 Team USA has also yet to get commitments from LeBron James and Chris Bosh, two others who will be free agents after the campaign.

 All American games on FIBA will be held in Istanbul. Team USA will take on Slovenia, Brazil, Croatia, Iran, and Tunisia in the preliminary round at the FIBA world Championship.
